The Grass- Roots Development Party of Nigeria has zoned its presidential ticket to credible members of the party in the North East region.
The party has also vowed to unseat President Buhari in the 2019 election, alleging that Nigerians are tired of poverty and economic deprivation under the APC.
The National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Odiom Shedrack told DAILY POST in Bauchi while addressing party’s supporters that the party’s decision was informed by the urgent need to ensure peace and improve on security challenges in the troubled region.
Shedrack blamed the country’s woes on APC failure, especially to have instituted permanent poverty and unemployment.
“Our mission to Bauchi state which is part of the North East is to declare that the party has zoned its presidential ticket to the zone for purposeful development,” Shedrack stressed.
The Chairman reiterated that GDPN is the only solution to Nigeria’s problems armed with the vision and mission to rescue the country from APC failure.
According to Shedrack, the party has zoned the Vice President slot to South East for equity to prevail.
He then charged Nigerians to vote out APC in support of GDPN for effective development.
