2022 Budget: Buhari budgets N1.6 billion for his cars

President Muhammadu Buhari who could not afford the All Progressive Congress – APC Presidential Nomination Form in 2014 to stand election in 2015, thus cried out: “APC Presidential Nomination form is too expensive for me” suddenly got to opulence and appropriates N1.6 billion for his cars

The N1.6 billion appropriated for the Presidential fleet is to face out some vehicles, replace them with new ones, purchase of vehicles spare parts and repairs inclusive.

While Buhari’s fleet of cars will cost the country N1.6 Billion Naira, the Federal Government appropriates a paltry N650 million Naira as counterpart funding for the Mambilla Power Project initiated by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

Mambilla Power Project will gulp N650 million for counterpart funding, consultancy, and survey fees. This is despite over N10 billion spent on this project in the last six years without the project taking off.
