The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Samuel Anyanwu, on Saturday said that his party would form government at the center in 2023.

At a town hall meeting at his country home at Amaimo in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state, Anyanwu said that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would defeat the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Tinubu.

Anyanwu also dispelled the rumor that his party would disintegrate because of the crisis rocking PDP.

He also urged his people to mobilize themselves and get their Permanent Voters Cards.

He said ” Atiku is the next president of Nigeria. Our party will defeat APC. We are prepared to take over leadership. Our presidential candidate is prepared and will repair Nigeria.”

He also canvassed support for the PDP candidates in the state, adding that Nigerians were tired of the APC.
