One of the most trending presidential aspirants for the 2023 election, Senator Rochas Okorocha has opened up the secrets behind the alleged failures in the NIGERIAN leadership and admistrative system pointing out NIGERIAN Politicians as the major cause of set backs recorded till date.
While Speaking in a recorded video chat with Pressmen, Senator Okorocha hinted that Nigeria needs a Business man and not a Manager to get Governance done rightly to improve the country.
I’m his words, “Our resources; the gold from Sokoto, the oil in Niger Delta, the Barite in Plateau, the Granite in Ekiti, and many more that strategically position our great nation as a world power if well utilised, can only be put into profitable use by a person with a track record of wealth creation not a manager”
Rochas Okorocha maitained the above is the reason he is seriously in the race for the office of the President of our great nation. This seem not to be a joke anymore judging from Okorocha’s views for the Country where he stated that Nigeria can only be better when People that creat businesses and technocrats are voted to take leadership positions and not mere managers, mediocres and power gluttons.
“With not just a track record of personal wealth creation even though I am of poor parentage, but also a track record of wealth creation at government level in my time as the Governor of Imo State where I was able to make revenue for the state enough to set up multiple strategic infrastructure – such as have never be witnessed in the history of the State, clear all debts and still leave a total of N48.3bn in the state treasury at the end of my tenure, I am in the race because I believe our nation is too blessed to be regarded as a third world nation, Okorocha claimed.
This narrative of apparent Poverty we will change in the New Nigeria by harnessing our unlimited resources to generate wealth for our nation, Senator Okorocha posited.
However, the global community is aware that the ball of PRESIDENTIAL ticket is domiciled in the South East and any other Zone or Zones posing for such position of the PRESIDENTIAL ticket is a brooder of trouble against equity and Justice. Let the ear hear this and grant the SouthEast this right accrued to them.
