The new Nigeria momentum seems to be unsettling the political establishment in the country as smart riggers have gone back to the drawing board.

It was gathered that the two major political parties are battling to take over the control of INEC by planting the National Commissioners and Resident Electoral Commissioners with the aim of rigging.

There is high level of apprehension in Nigeria over the 2023 elections as news filtered in that Mr. Chidi Nwafor, the Director of ICT that set up the Continuous Voters Registration Portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) in 2020 has been removed.

9news Nigeria learned that it was possible that he was removed barely six months to the election to pave way for manipulation of demographics, polling units and addition of unknown elements into northern voting blocks.

The suspicion is that the electoral umpire may soon begin to create additional polling units that shall be added to ensure “massive” increase in new registrants and the bulk of these new polling units shall be located in the North.

According to sources close to INEC, Mr. Chidi Nwafor, an ICT professional has been moved to become administrative Secretary which may give room for the online real time transmission of results to be muddled up in INEC collation center.

The source added that this is the time for civil society organizations to rise and speak up adding that there is a high level conspiracy to shut out other geopolitical zones same way it is in the national security architecture, in the national electoral system. The source further called organizations such as Ohaneze Ndigbo, Afenifere, Pandev and Middle Belt coalition to challenge this redeployment carried out six months to national elections as having been done in bad faith.
