9news Nigeria has learned that State Minister of Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, would join the race for the coveted position of President of Nigeria, barring any last-minute change of mind.
Unlike other candidates who announced their intentions to run for president with fanfare, 9news Nigeria has learned that a group will acquire Mr Sylva’s nomination forms tomorrow, Thursday, May 5th, 2022.
Mr Sylva is President Muhammadu Buhari’s preferred aspirant, according to a top source in the Presidency who did not want his identity revealed.
But the President has kept it close to his chest to avoid the backlash of other aspirants. The source said” Oga trusts Sylva a lot, he trusts his loyalty, in fact, he, told us that Sylva has never complained about anything during his work. He is always carrying out his assignment without complaint unlike others, this the President cherish much”. The source said
