2023: Tinubu Meets IBB In A Closed Door Meeting In Minna

The All Progressives Congress,APC, Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has on Tuesday met with Former military President, General Ibrahim Babangida.

It was gathered that the meeting was held at Babangida’s residence in Minna, Niger state.

According to a source who is an inner caucus member of the APC Presidential candidate, the meeting was part of Asiwaju Tinubu’s strategy to seek blessing and support of Babangida for his 2023 ambition.

As at the time of filing this report, details of the discussion was still sketchy but it was learned that Tinubu assured his host of uniting the nation if he emerges victorious and seized the opportunity to plead with IBB to mobilise other elder statesmen for him in the north.
