Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, has stated that none of the current presidential hopefuls share his unique background or experiences.
Speaking in an interview with Arise TV on Monday, Obi said; “Let me assure you, I’m committed to a better Nigeria, and I have what it takes. I have the experience of all those who want to be president today. Nobody has my background. I built a business from the groundup in this country.
“I’ve worked in the corporate world, and I have been a governor. I transformed one of the smallest banks into N25 billion institution”, he said.
“I served as governor and left office without owing anyone. I believe I saved more money than any other governor.
“Since leaving office, I’ve not received any pension or gratuity from the state. Not even bottle of water has been given to me”, he added.
