451 cases recorded as Cholera outbreak hits Borno

In another development within the State, Borno State Government has declared an outbreak of Cholera with a staggering number of 451 cases recorded so far.

This disclosure was made by the State’s Commissioner for Health Professor Baba Mallam Gana during a press conference in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The Commissioner attributes the outbreak to the recent devastating flood that swept through the State, displacing over two million people and destroying critical health infrastructure.

The affected Local Government Areas include Maiduguri Metropolitan Council, Jere, Monguno, Mafa, and Konduga
