Many Farmers Killed In Fresh Terrorists Attacks In Borno Community
About 40 farmers are reportedly killed by terrorists at Dumba, a village near Baga community in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The massacre was during an attack on Sunday in the community by suspected Boko-Haram and ISWAP terrorists groups.
According to a release by Borno’s ministry of information and internal security, the victims are farmers and fishermen and were attacked when they strayed off the security corridor established by the security agencies.
It noted that the location of the attack is an enclave not yet cleared by the security and is reportedly prone to nocturnal attacks by marauding terrorists and is contaminated with landmines.
The ministry also noted that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack has commenced.
