The Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris is caught in an underhand dealing to marry an under-age girl in Kano State Nigeria
Family members of a 16 year old Kano girl, simply identified as Hussain, have kicked against the lobbying of Ahmed Idris Accountant-General of the Federation getting married to their daughter.
The family accused Idris of luring the teenager with millions of Naira.
Idris will turn 61 on November 25, 2021.
Idris is alleged to go as far as bribing Hussain with a gold jewelry of over N200 million, iPhones, buying cars for her, and giving her millions of Naira to get her consent.
Although Idris is vehemently resisted in his lobby and negotiation, he is leaving no stone unturned as he is meeting different people every other day to dissuade the family on their opposition to let him marry the minor.
