The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), says it has arrested an octogenarian, Haruna Ibrahim, for allegedly defiling a 4-year-old girl in the state.
The incident occurred in Kongo community in Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
The Command Public Relations Officer, Jerry Victor, who confirmed the incident, narrated that the elder sister of the victim raised alarm when she discovered that the girl was walking with discomfort and blood dripping from her legs.
Victor alleged that the 85-year-old octogenarian lured the little girl into his room where he perpetrated the act.
The Spokesman of the Command who presented the medical report before journalists, explained that a medical test confirmed that the little girl was violated.
He said the case would be handed over to the state Ministry of Justice after Investigation.
