…. As he celebrates with 9News Nigeria team members over the 2023 Anambra Media Personality Of The Year Award

Members of the 9news Nigeria team from South Eastern Nigeria, on Sunday, 14th, January 2024, were at the home of her foremost boss and Publisher, Mr. Obinna Ejianya (SMOG) in Mgbakwu, Awka North LGA to celebrate with him and present “The 2023 Anambra Media Personality Of The Year Award.”
Mr. Obinna Ejianya (SMOG), who was awarded alongside His Eminence, Cardinal Peter Okpaleke, Mrs Nneka Onyeali-ikpe, Ichie Sunday Ezeobiora (Sunny Vesper), Award-winning legislator, Hon. Peter Ibida, YPP Anambra Central 2023 Senatorial candidate, Chief Chinedu Umeadi, Nnewi foremost Industrialist, Dr. Ikenna Ifejiofor (MD Jolly Jolly noodles), Barr. Emeka Obegolu, Leading Estate group boss, Arnold & Associates, and Nigerian singer, Jennifer Eliogu amongst many other eminent Ndi Anambra, but was unavoidably absent and had his 9news team members represent and received the award Of Anambra Media Personality of the Year, 2023 on his behalf at the extraordinary AMTY Award ceremony held on the 29th of December, 2023 at Stanel Dome, Awka.
Some of the organizers of the AMTY 2023 award, Chief Chiedu Chikezie and Hon. Chinedu Okafor, and the 9news Nigeria South East team members comprising of Mr. Wisdom Nwedene, South East Enugu and Ebonyi Bureau, Paschal Nwankwo and Comrade Promise Okongwu (Mmiri Jesus), were at the country home of the recipient earlier today to celebrate with him. Different turns were taken to appreciate and eulogize the foremost media Icon and promoter of investigative journalism in the state, region, and Nigeria, in general.
According to one of the AMTY organizers, Mr. Chikezie Chiedu, who said and I quote, “Mr. Obinna Ejianya (SMOG) has done so well in terms of making sure that his 9news Nigeria platform is topnotch and has met the requirement to be described as an unbiased media umpire. Stressing that his landmark achievement in the media is worthy of encouragement and that is what we have done through this AMTY award.”
He ended by congratulating Mr Obinna Ejianya and his team members for such a feat and urged him to continue on his wonderful path of promoting journalism and media engagement in Nigeria.
On the path of Mr & Mrs. Ejianya, who responded by dedicating this award to continuous and deepened investigative journalism. Promising that the 9news Nigeria platform and other Media engagement platforms within his reach as a consultant will continue to toe the line of promoting Justice and fairness, and upholding the true forms of international media best practices.
