Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, aka, Naira Marley has been arrested by the police for contravening guidelines set by Federal Government to reduce the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
9NEWS NIGERIA gathered that Naira Marley was arrested in Lagos today and is currently in Custody.
Recall that Naira Marley was airlifted to Abuja by a charter and aircraft maintenance firm, Executive Jet Services, for the concert amidst a ban put in place against flight operation in the country.
The development contravened the government’s directives and measures put in place to mitigate the spread of the deadly virus in the country.
