GODWIN OBASEKI’S INVASION OF APANA VILLAGE.

Gov Godwin Obaseki’s thugs preceding his arrival, invaded Apana village , headquarters of Ward 10, Etsako West Local Government Area, which incidentally is Oshiomhole’s Ward. They shot sporadically in all directions and destroyed all APC billboards in the community. A car belonging to an APC leader in the community, Mr. Wilson Idaewor was vandalised. 4 persons sustained gunshot injuries, 1 is in critical condition and presently hospitalised. When information reached us, we asked our boys not to retaliate no matter the provocation, so that the headlines tomorrow will not be screaming
“Obaseki attacked in Oshiomhole’s Ward”, which we know was their intention. All the villagers ran into their various houses and shut their doors to avoid becoming casualties. When Godwin Obaseki eventually arrived the venue, he addressed his entourage at the village square, interspersed with gunshots before leaving Apana for us to lick our wounds.
We are essentially a peace loving people who abhor violence in whichever form.
But whoever sactioned this violation of our innocence, whether he is from our village or a stranger will definitely incur that wrat of Ana…
