The battle over who will succeed gov Obiano come 2021 in Anambra state is getting interesting. The battle may become that of the billionaires as a member of Okwuosa family from Oraifite in Ekwusigo LGA declares for 2021.

Chief Dr Azuka Okwuosa has declared to run for the 2021 governorship election on the platform of APC.

Dr Azuka Okwuosa is the elder brother to Dr Emeka Okwuosa who is considered a billionaire by all standard. The Okwuosa family is respected and highly influential within the system.

Dr Azuka Okwuosa was a local govt Chairman of old Nnewi and later became a commissioner for works. He was a senatorial candidate of APGA in 2003 but was rigged out by PDP.

He went to court and got the election nullified but the rigging machine of PDP between 2003 and 2007 refused to allow a free and fair election. In 2019 he was a senatorial aspirant for Anambra south senatorial zone on the platform of APC.

Dr Azuka Okwuosa said he is in this 2021 race to give APC victory and that nothing will stop him. He is a stakeholder and political player in the system. His candidature is already changing political permutations in APC.
