Unknown gunmen in the early hours of Monday set Uzuakoli police station in Bende local government area of Abia State on fire.
This is coming weeks after a similar incident took place in World Bank housing estate Aba when a police station was razed and property worth millions of Naira destroyed.
Recall that the state government last week alerted the public of a planned attack in parts of the state, urging vigilance.
All efforts by 9NEWS NIGERIA to reach PPRO in the state, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna for a comment proved abortive as at the time of this report.
