Catholic priests of St.Ferrer Parish, Malunfashi Katsina State,were yesterday kidnapped 9news Nigeria confirmed.
The kidnapped priests were identified as:Rev.Fr.Joe Keke (70s) & Rev.Fr.Alphonsus Bello (30s)With high hopes that someday this priests will return unharmed back to there parish to continue with the work of God;indeed it was sad, when the lifeless body of Rev.Fr Joe was found in a farmland behind Catechetical Training School,Malunfashi.As at the time of filling this report,the whereabout of Rev.Alphonsus remains unknown.
However, the director of Social Communications,Sokoto Diocese,Rev.Fr.Omotosho Chris who broke the sad news, called for prayers for the quick release of Rev.Fr.Alphonsus.
Calls put across the Police PPRO Katsina state all proved abortive.
