Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has switched into unscheduled inspection of road projects all over the state aimed at checkmating contractors and as well to ascertain the progress of work done at various construction sites.
9News Nigeria reports that the ON-THE-SPOT INSPECTION OF ROADS was on IHECHIOWA ROAD & OTHER ADJOINING STREETS.
Governor Hope Uzodimma said this the promise he gave to the state to see Imo people heave a sigh of relief.
He futher stated that he has kept the road revolutionary projects ongoing in numerous parts of the State even as the rains continue.
Governor Uzodimma went on an on-the-spot inspection to the ongoing reconstruction of Ihechiowa road and other adjoining streets namely, Okenze street, Golden child and Abiriba/Oguzie streets.
The Governor while briefing Journalists, stated that the people’s administration is spiritedly poised towards changing the narratives on the state of roads in Imo while expressing confidence that the 3R Reconstruction Agenda, will cut across all the nooks and crannies of the State with road revolution, he added.
His Excellency, the Governor was accompanied by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Prof. Placid Njoku, the Commissioner for Works, Ralph Nwosu, The Chief of Staff, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie; SA to the Governor on Special Duties, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri; and other senior Government functionaries.
