The Presidency is happy when bad news comes from South East – Sen. Abaribe

The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has remarked that the Presidency is always happy when misfortune befalls the South East region of the country.

Senator Abaribe made the remark while explaning the reasons he restrains himself from commending a celibral Cadet of Nigeria Defense Academy – NDA Uchechi Promise Uchefu an indigent of Imo State who graduated as Overall First Class Cadet in the military institution.

Explaining his restrains, Abaribe said:

” I heard about Imo-born Uchechi Echefu who graduated as Overall Best Cadet with First Class in Computer Science from Nigeria Defence Academy”.

” I did not want to post or comment about her success on the social media because the enemies of Igbos in Aso Rock would find a way to hinder her progress”.

“The truth is that whenever you hear good news about any Igbo man, the Federal Government will go after the person to see the person’s downfall”

“The Pesidency is happy only when bad news is coming from South East”. Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe remarked.

The Overall Best Cadet Uchechi Promise Echefu, a native of Mbeke in Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo state who worths been celebrated, graduated from NDA with a first class in computer science.

She got C-in-C best graduating Cadet academic award.

Afe Babalola best behaved graduating Cadet award.

Chief of Defence Staff best graduating Cadet award in military science and inter disciplinary studies.

Commandant best graduating Cadet award in computer science and best graduating Cadet award in Navy.
