2023: Few Days After Tinubu's Visit, Orji Uzor Kalu's "Thank You Buhari" Wrappers Flood APC National Secretariat, Abuja markets

Barely two days after the former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu at his Abuja residence, wrappers bearing Orji Kalu and President Buhari’s Photographs with the insignia “Thanks for giving us Roads” have been distributed massively at the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressive’s Congress and popular markets in Abuja.

The wrappers believed to be an appreciation to President Buhari for approving the massive Road construction in Senator Kalu’s Abia-North Senatorial District was shared in tens of thousands.

The distribution exercise took off concurrently in Abia and Abuja on Monday afternoon.  Tinubu and Kalu are believed to be the strongest contenders for the president should All Progressives Congress (APC) zone its presidential ticket to Southern Nigeria.

Meanwhile,  Kalu who has garnered wide support from the Northern and southern regions to run for President is yet to declare his intention to run for the seat.

Our correspondent also learnt that the distribution of the “thank you” wrappers will go round the country.
