The All Progressives Congress, APC has inaugurated the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi, FNSE, FNATE as the Chairman of the national campaign council of the Party for the forthcoming FCT Area Council election.
A statement made available to 9News Nigeria by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Francis Nwaze said Governor Umahi was inaugurated alongside Gov. Abdullahi Sule, co-chairman, and 131 members at the International Conference Center, Central Area, Abuja on Monday.
Inaugurating the Committee, the Chairman of the Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni represented by Senator Yusuf Abubakar expressed hope in the composition of the Committee ably Chaired by Governor Umahi.
He urged Governor Umahi and members of his Committee to fasten their seatbelts and ensure the victory of the APC in the forthcoming election in the Council.
Responding on behalf of other members of the Committee, Governor David Nweze Umahi thanked the Leadership of the Party for finding them worthy to serve and pledged to work assiduously to deliver on their assignments.
