The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu has on Friday appointed hitherto NURTW leader, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo as the GM/MD of Lagos State Transportation Parks and Garages Management Committee.
This was disclosed by his son, King West, on Instagram. The state government is yet to announce this appointment as of the time of filing this report.
The appointment came just hours after MC Oluomo’s infinite suspension from the national body of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
Meanwhile, a report has revealed that the Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile has debunked the media report suggesting that the Governor has appointed Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) as the General Manager of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Committee.
However, 9News Nigeria has contacted another senior member of the Lagos state government officials who said that he is not yet aware of the announcement, but said the appointment is possible.
9News Nigeria had reported earlier today on the crisis within the NURTW and the suspension of the body in Lagos from operating in the motor parks within the state.
