The Nigeria Anti Graft Agency, EFCC has released Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano and his wife, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano.
9News Nigeria reports that the former Anambra State governor was picked up at the Lagos International Airport as he was travelling to Texas, USA just hours after he handed over the baton to the incoming governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
Obiano and his wife were thereafter moved to the graft agency’s office in Abuja before their release was brokered today, Friday18th March 2022.
