There was wild jubilation on Friday after Engineer Felix Igboke was announced as the candidate for All Progressives Congress, APC, for Ohanivo Federal Constituency in 2023 General elections.
9news Nigeria reports that Engr. Igboke polled 167 votes to defeat his opponent, Julius A Emmanuel who secured 0 votes from the delegates.
Speaking after the results was announced, Engr. Igboke appreciated God almighty for the victory and equally thanked Governor David Nweze Umahi of Ebonyi State and his supporters.
He noted that Ohanivo federal constituency is now in safe hands.
He advised the youths to shun violence or crime so that they will not land in prison or keep running from security operatives.
“My advice to every youth here today is to shun violence and crime”.
” Remember, if you commit crime, is either you are arrested by the security operatives or you keep running”.
“By then, you might be calling me on phone from far away, telling me Honourable, I’m supporting you but the support won’t hold any impact, so resist any plan to submit yourself as a tool to perpetuate any form of crime”
He added, “Thank you Jesus”
