Nigeria President, Buhari has said he planned to manage his 300 animals after leaving political office. The outgoing President said this why reacting to the 2023 election results.
Buhari said he is not happy that some candidates lost in the recent general elections, adding that Nigerians were the ones who decided the winners and the losers.
Buhari, who however did not disclose the candidates, noted that with the currency change, there was no money for politicians to spread around the country during the elections.
The president, from the ruling All Progressives Congress, spoke at a farewell meeting with the outgoing United States Ambassador, Mary Beth Leonard, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday.
He added that he planned to be “a big landlord” working on his farms and tending his more than 300 animals in Daura, his hometown in Katsina State.
