The Delta State All Progressives Congress, (APC), has expelled its governorship candidate and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, from the party.
Omo-Agege’s expulsion according to the party’s State Executive Committee (SEC) followed a meeting held on March 31, 2023, at the state party’s secretariat, Asaba, to ratify the notice of expulsion by Omo-Agege’s ward executive committee in Orogun and Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
“Consequently Senator Ovie Omo Agege hereby stands expelled as a member of the party with IMMEDIATE EFFECT for various offenses committed and acts of anti-party activities and gross misconduct that has brought shame and ridicule to the image of the party in the state which affected the party in the just concluded elections.”
