VP Shettima To Be In Imo Wednesday As APC Kicks Off Governorship Campaign

The all awaiting Imo 2023 Governorship campaign will kick off Wednesday 11-10-2023 accordingly as APC likely to lead the Train while other political parties are expected to follow suit.

The Governor of Imo state has before now promised a free ground to all political parties in the state to exercise their franchise while noting that maximum security will be guaranteed throughout the electioneering process.

Governor Uzodinma has also promised fellow Guber candidates of free and fair election while charging all Imolites to troop out en-masse to cast their votes for their preferred candidate and political party.

To this effect, our correspondent went to the streets of Imo in the three senatorial zones to hear the views of voters as it concern the upcoming November Guber Election.

Meanwhile, the stage is getting set and more interesting while the voters are eager to come out en-masse to cast their votes on the scheduled election day.

Some other persons who spoke with 9News Nigeria Owerri expressed satisfaction of the good works of Governor Hope Uzodinma in the state but regretted the state of insecurity bedevilling the land after every efforts by government to curb this menace failed.

Sources close to Government house also told our Investigative team that the election will be free and fair and the best candidate will emerge through the polls across the polling units in the state as set in motion by INEC.

While the Labour Party is bedeviled by the state of controversial confusion of who the actual candidate is, the PDP and Action Alliance AA Governorship candidates are ready to go to the field of the election as 9News Nigeria reports.

On Wednesday morning, the leading All Progressives Congress APC party in Imo state will officially Flag-Off the Year 2023 gubernatorial campaign as contained in the release signed by the party leadership who made it available to 9News Nigeria.

This story being peddled by Imo State APC has corroborated the details of information in the release below as Governor Hope Uzodinma has successfully Constituted LGA, Wards and Polling Units Campaign Councils.

The Campaign Flag-off of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the 11th November, 2023 Governorship election in Imo State holds this Wednesday, 11th of November 2023.

According to Chief Cosmas Iwu, the Secretary to the Imo Government, the event is scheduled to hold at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri starting from 8.00am when accreditations will commence.

Accordingly, Governor Hope Uzodinma has constituted his Campaign Councils at the Polling Units, Wards and LGAs around the state with self and his good works leading his campaign.

Announcing these Monday during a meeting of the Imo APC family, the governor enjoined all appointees at various levels to put in their best towards the collective victory of all and the party come November 11th, 2023.

The National Campaign Council for Imo State with the national leadership of the party will be led to Imo by the Vice President, His Excellency, Alhaji Kashim Shettima for the flag-off ceremony.

The APC Imo State is leaving no stone unturned towards it desire to re-elect the Imo Governor Hope Uzodinma for his deserving second term in office.

For record purpose, the Flag-Off will be held at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri Imo State Nigeria, having the Vice President Alhaji Alhaji Kashim Shettima as special guest.
