A young Kano man, Suleiman Isah, who married an American citizen, Janine Raimann, has become a citizen of the United States of America (USA).
Isah was 23-year-old when he got married to Reimann, 46, on December 13, 2020.
The couple met on Instagram 10 months before their wedding.
Ms Reimann, a chef based in Lindon, California, subsequently flew into Nigeria for the wedding ceremony which was held at Barracks mosque, Panshekara, Kano Nigeria.
In May 2023, lsah announced that he had joined the World most strongest Military, the US Army.
Taking to his Facebook page On Thursday October 26, 2023, Isah celebrated becoming an American citizen. “Alhamdulilah, I am grateful to served in the World most strongest Military.
“Thanks to the United States Military for giving me the opportunity to serve and become a citizen of the United States of America. I am now an American”, he wrote.
