With heavy cheers and chants came music sensation, Daniel Asemota professionally known as Danny the prophet with smiles on his face,sits with much excitement for a conversation.
Danny then reveals to 9news that he is on a mission to restore the magnificence of African music.
During the interview, he explains how deep music is, emphasizing that music originated from Africa.
The ‘Feel love’ crooner stated that regardless of the trends, music remains a means of in-depth expression and communication.
“What do we think music is about? Music is only a means to express and communicate.
“I know now it looks like anyone can just enter a studio to record but it doesn’t change the fact that it comes from within. The melody and the rhythm are always the basic components of singing. I’ve come a long way to realize this”. He said.
He further disclosed that he’s working on a project with other African artistes, stressing the need for artiste across the continent to associate with each other.
“We have many successful artistes in the continent and there’s need for a fusion between us. Nigerian artiste have gone too far to be divided”. Danny added.
