š¢ Federal, State and Local Government Are Direct Beneficiaries
The sharing goes this way: Federal Government-N402.867 billion, States -N351.697 billion, Local Government Councils -N258.810 billion, and the Oil Producing States -N75.410 billion as Derivation!
The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared the sum ofĀ N1,088.783 trillion naira to the three tiers of government as Federation Allocation for the month of November.
The amount was derived from a gross total of N1.62 trillion naira as gathered by our correspondents.
The breakdown of the allocation shows that the Federal Government received N402.867 billion, the States received N351.697 billion, the Local Government Councils received N258.810 billion, and the Oil Producing States received N75.410 billion as Derivation.
This will help to fine-tune the missing part of government at the federal, states and local government councils mostly as the Christmas season and New year holidays are fast approaching.
The usage will be the challenge because in some states the LGA funds are not directly remitted to the LGA account. Sometimes, the huge money released by FAAC got missing without proper accountability.
But since, the Federal Government received N402.867 billion, the States received N351.697 billion, the Local Government Councils received N258.810 billion, and the Oil Producing States received N75.410 billion as Derivation, it behooves on same government administrations to handle it judiciously.
