Tiwa savage has emerged as one of 100 most influential and inspirational women in the world.
The award winning Nigerian music star appeared at number 56 and the only Nigerian woman that made the list.
According to BBC, the women on the list are challenged this year to tackle four of the biggest problems facing women today – the glass ceiling, female illiteracy, harassment in public spaces and sexism in sport.
Also on the list are 7 other Africans – Adelle Onyango (Kenya) Anita Nderu (Kenya) Chaima Lahsini (Morroco), Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (Liberia), Marieme Jamme (Senegal), Naomi Mwaura (Kenya) and Talent Jumo (Zimbabwe).
