Rt Hon Boniface Emerengwa, a high-ranking member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, (HoR), has pledged loyalty to the leadership of the Rivers State governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
The federal lawmaker, representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives pledged when he led a delegation to the governor on Monday evening, 25th March.
This pledge of allegiance was coming on the heels of the resignation of Rt. Hon. Prince Achor Nna.
Nna, until his voluntary resignation to join the Simplified Movement, was the councilor representing Ward 9 Epirikom/Elioparanwo (Wike’s political ward) and the Leader of the Obio/Akpor Legislative Council.
Rt Hon Emerengwa said it was futile to continue to fight over who is the leader of State and the PDP when it was clear that Governor Fubara won his election, and had been affirmed by the Supreme Court.
