The Independent National Electoral Commission yesterday displayed the list of qualified candidates for the Edo State gubernatorial election coming up in September, 2024.
The list was displayed at the state office of the Commission in Benin City and in all INEC offices across the 18 local government areas.
The successful candidates after INEC screening are as follows:
- Ighodalo Asuerinme of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
- Okpebholo Monday of All Progressives Congress (APC).
- Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party, LP.
- Osirame Edeipo, Boot Party (BP).
- Enabulele Bright, Accord party (AP).
- Obazele Paul, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
- Patience Ndidi Key. People’s Redemption Party (PRP).
- Okungbowa Paul Ovbokhan. Young Progressive Party (YPP).
- Uwaifo Osaro is the governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA).
- Aner Abdullai Aliu Social Democratic Party (SDP).
- Azena Azemhe New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
- Osifo Isiah All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
- Ugiagbe Odaro Syvelster. All People Movement (APM).
- Areleogbe Amos, All Peoples Party (APP).
- Osalumese; Action Democratic Party (ADP).
- Akhime kingson Afere; African Action Congress (AAC).
- Akhalamhe Amiemenoghena, Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
