BREAKING: NLC Declares Nationwide Indefinite Strike, Begins Monday, 3rd June Over Minimum Wage

The Leadership of the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) and its Trade Union Congress (TUC) have taken drastic action over the delayed conclusion on minimum wage and have decided to embark on an indefinite strike, which is to begin nationwide on Monday 3rd June.

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) President, Festus Osifo declares it during a joint conference with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress today Friday 31st May 2024 in Abuja.

The organised labour rejects the Federal government’s offer of N60,000.
