A lecturer with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Dr. Robert Kever, has been abducted by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
Mr Kever, according to reports was abducted at his residence in Angwan Jama’ah, Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
A family source who confirmed the incident said the gunmen invaded the house in the early hours of Thursday July 04, 2024 where they whisked him away to unknown destination.
He had return home from Maiduguri, Borno State to attend to family matters when the incident occurred.
When contacted, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Ramhan Nansel said he’s yet to be briefed on the unfortunate incident.
