Terrorists have launched a fresh attack in Gwoza local government area of Borno State.
The deadly attack happened on Tuesday night at Ngoshe, a community under Gwoza, leading to the death of five people.
According to sources, the terrorists also abducted 15 people, including women and children.
It is gathered that the dead victims are two members of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and three civilians.
The terrorists attacked the town from multiple directions and were encountered by troops of the Nigerian Army.
Due to the heavy power of the army, the terrorists retreated.
However, there is no official statement by security or other government officials on the attack at the time of filling this report.
Gwoza has fall under a similar devastating attack by Boko-Haram terrorists earlier this year, when multiple suicide bombers killed at least 32 civilians, while more than 100 injured.
The suicide attack was targeted at a wedding reception, and later burial ceremony and a hospital.
Many of the hospitalised victims reportedly died while receiving treatment in various hospitals across the state.
