Angry mob burnt suspected Motorcycle ‘snatcher’ to death in Nasarawa

A suspected thief met his waterloo in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State as angry mob burnt him to death for allegedly stealing Motorcycle.

The incident according to sources occurred on Thursday October 24, around 7.30pm at ASO A, Market Garku Area of Karu, Nasarawa State.

The angry mob after beating him to coma, thereafter took a used tyre, sprinkle petrol on it, put it on the suspected thief and set him ablaze.

Reacting, a resident of the area, Shuaibu Muluku, lamented the tragic event raises concerns about jungle justice and breakdown of law and order.

“While the desire for justice is understandable, mob justice is never an acceptable solution. Let’s work towards a safer and more just society”, Muluku, added.
