Electricity has been restored in four States under the Jos Electricity Distribution franchise -Plateau, Benue, Bauchi and Gombe.
The power was restored at about 7:20pm on Wednesday October 30, 2024.
9News Nigeria reports that residents of Jos, Plateau State capital erupted into celebration when the electricity was restored.
For the past 10 days, several Northern States have been plunged into darkness following the tripping of 330kV transmission line between Benue and Enugu State.
However, residents of the affected States lamented the severe impact of the blackout on the their daily lives and business activities.
