The Police Service Commission, PSC has appointed AIG Ari Mohammed Ali as Deputy Inspector-General to replace DIG Ade Ayuba who has retired from service.
This was contained in a statement issued by its Spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani on Tuesday in Abuja.
According to the statement, Ani resumes duties to represent Northcentral geopolitical zone of the country from where the retired DIG Ayuba also hails from.
Until his appointment as the DIG, Ari who hails from Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State was the AIG in-charge of zone 1, Kano.
