2025 Budget: Plateau Gov presents N471bn to Assembly

Governor Mutfwang presents 2025 proposed budget estimate of Four Hundred and Seventy-One Billion, One Hundred and Thirty-Four Million, Ninety-Three Thousand, Five Hundred and Forty -One Naira for 2025 fiscal year.

The Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has presented a 2025 proposed appropriation Bill, budgeted at Four Hundred and Seventy-One Billion, One Hundred and Thirty-Four Million, Ninety-Three Thousand, Five Hundred and Forty -One Naira for fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.

In his address, the Governor says, the move is an effort to underscore his administration’s steadfast commitment to shape a sustainable future for the State.

Governor Mutfwang who titled the budget as: “Budget of Consolidation and Sustainability”, further maintains that, for an effective and prudent utilization of government funds, several measures and strategies for revenue collection have been put in place for due payment of all revenues to relevant authorities.

Presenting the budget to the House, Governor Mutfwang explains that, Two Hundred and One Billion, Four Hundred and Thirty-Three Thousand, Two Hundred and Sixty Four Naira which represents 43.46 percent of the budget, is allocated to recurrent expenditure, which Two Hundred and Sixty-Nine Billion, Six Hundred and Eleven Million, Six Hundred and Sixty Thousand, Two Hundred and Seventy -Seven Naira representing 56.54 percent, is for capital expenditure.
