The attack on Amagu people located at Nkalaha, Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi is an eyesore and a big embarrassment to Governor Nwifuru. It took the state government many hours for them to release a statement condemning the dastardly act by suspected herders.
By now, I expected the Governor to have visited Nkalaha to ascertain the level of destruction and condole the Amagu people over the attack. We are talking about 20 people being brutally K!lled In the attack.
The Governor’s emotion towards the people of Amagu shouldn’t end in just releasing a press statement. A visit to the location will definitely console relatives that lost their loved ones.
Mr Governor, visit the people of Amagu. To the Ebonyi Central Senator , Mr Ken Eze, I hope you are aware that Amagu people are part of your constituency and they need your attention, a visit reassuring them that you will talk about the insecurity ravaging the zone at the chamber. It shouldn’t end by staying in Abuja and dishing out press statement.
