The Police Command in Anambra has denied any complicity in the escape of two suspects allegedly linked to the murder of lawmaker at the State Assembly, Justice Azuka.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Tochukwu Ikenga, made this known on Thursday in a statement in Awka, noting that the police cannot sabotage the investigation process of the killed lawmaker.
He therefore stressed that the police command is owning up to its responsibility, revealing that it is more focused on interrogating the officers involved in the operational lapses.

“Remember that we had earlier paraded these suspects for residents of the state and the world to see.
