There comes a time when you must let reason and sincerity define your commitment to the course. The time to rise up above sentiments and selfish interests is now . We, who are of voting age, must be intentional in seeking for and pushing forward a candidate whose competence and readiness to serve can not be doubted.
In my search and opinion poll randomly done , the name of Chief Charles Orie, a man who has enormous respect for the people of Imo, came highly endorsed . I gathered that he is deeply rooted in respect for the traditions of the land with undiluted reverence to all senatorial districts because from cradle, he had mingled and related with all.
In the defense of our dear Imo State, we must first be true to our creator , then to our children, our people, and to ourselves. The year 2027, not a year devastation of Imolites’ lives and properties would be allowed to continue unabated. We must eschew personal gains , greed , avarice, and aggrandisement. We, as a united force, must decide not to preach or vouch for an aspirant because of personal gains. And does not consider to sponsor or encourage those who desire to selflessly serve.
Imo State is not looking for recycled leaders or known politicians who blew away our common patrimony. Imo State needs help and intervention from a servant leader, a nurtured and influential personality whose voice and presence can not be ignored when opportunities duty calls. Here is a call to TRUISM . Permit me to buttress this by the position of Nicolaus Copernicus,
“Truth is not defined by authority, tradition, or numbers—but by reason and evidence.” Falsehood or deception breeds rivalry.
Assumptions and imaginations are dangerous as the only truth is sacrosanct, especially when grounded in objective reality—not dictated by social constructs. Truth is scientific and philosophical, and it breeds integrity. Let’s breed teamwork in our circles, not doubts , suspicions, or bickerings. Time to focus on endorsing Hon Chief Charles Orie is now .
