Speaking to newsmen, Corps Commander Innocent Etuk, the Sector Commander RS6. 2, FRSC Command in Cross River, said that the mobile court’s decision would curb indecent road cultures.

“The decisions will also enable the corps to achieve its 2025 goal of reducing road traffic crashes and fatality by 10 per cent.

“The corps will continue to ensure strict enforcement of traffic rules, continuous public enlightenment campaigns and collaborations with stakeholders.

“The mobile court remains a vital tool in ensuring compliance with traffic laws, and deterring habitual violators of the FRSC establishment Act,” he said.

Etuk urged motorists to strictly obey traffic regulations, and ensure proper maintenance of their vehicles in the interest of their safety and that of other road users.
