A fire outbreak, on Thursday, razed a training office of a Solar company, Sun Watt’s Solar and Electrical Company Plc, located at Iwo road area of Ibadan.
The Chairman of Oyo State Fire Services Agency, Mr Moroof Akinwande in a statement on Friday, said the fire which happened on Thursday evening, razed the company’s training office, located on the upper floor of Salinsile building in Iwo road.
Akinwande said that the agency received a distress call about the fire incident at exactly 18:12p.m. on Thursday, and immediately deployed personnel to the scene of the incident.
He said that firefighters led by CFS Olayiwola T. were able to put out the fire and restricted it from spreading to other parts of the building.
Akinwande said that properties worth millions of naira were saved by the fire service and no casualty was recorded in the incident.
He said that the cause of the fire incident was yet to be established, but post fire investigation was ongoing to ascertain the cause of the fire.
