Council Leader Olekibe Applauds Majority Leader IMHA At A Solidarity Visit

The Councillor representing Nekede Ward seven in Owerri West Legislative Council has applauded the back-to-back back Majority Imo state House of Assembly IMHA, RT Hon Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi (Egbe) , for his legislative prowess.

Hon Olekibe made this remark at a courtesy call on Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi at his legislative office in the House of Assembly complex Wednesday.

While presenting his colleagues to the Honourable member representing Owerri West State constituency in the IMHA, Ugochukwu Victor Olekibe defined Chief Onyemaechi as a political pivot and leader in Owerri West .

He further added that Owerri West has never have a legislator that has a bold voice like Egbe. In his words , Chief Onyemaechi has shown capacity, proven integrity and established a unifying progression in the politics of Owerri West.

The above indices can be verified through Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi’s number of motions presented and bills passed in both the 9th and 10th Assemblies IMHA.

Chief Egbe has brought light in Owerri West politics through his open door policies and an all inclusive integration of politicians across boards into the APC mainstream of politics under His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma CON.

He told the majority leader the readiness of his co Councillors to continue to align with the government of the day in Imo State while pleading for more robust unity amongst Owerri West politicians.

Speaking on behalf of the councillors, the leader of the delegation, Hon Victor Olekibe, who also doubles as the leader of Owerri West council and councillor representing Nekede Ward seven, described chief Onyemaechi as a bold voice of Owerri West.

Hon Olekibe further stated that Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi has repositioned Owerri West politics to an all encompassing leadership aimed at raising quality leaders to improve the constituency.

Councillor Olekibe also assured Chief Kanayo Onyemaechi of the loyalty of Owerri West Councillors to his leadership and that of loyalty to APC party leadership in Owerri West ably led by Hon Humphrey Umunakwe and the shared prosperity administration under his Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma CON.

He told Egbe that their visit was based on courtesy and respect to his legislative prowess in both the 9th and 10th Assembly IMHA. Their visit was well appreciated by the majority Leader IMHA, Chief Onyemaechi.
