The All Progressives Congres (APC) has announced the reopening of its Electronic Membership Registration Exercise nationwide from Monday, August, 2026, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday by its spokesman, Felix Morka.
“We invite all party stakeholders, supporters and members, old and new, to participate in the APC Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise. The exercise will be conducted in all wards nationwide.

“The E-Registration Exercise is designed to digitise the party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of membership records and enhance efficient access to membership data”, he said.
The exercise will hold across all political wards nationwide – reports put it at all 8809 wards.
He stated that members were expected to validate their membership, encouraging new and intending members to register and join the APC, he said the registrant must be 18 years or older and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
Mr. Morka said this was critical for planning and management decisions and to promote internal democracy, while strengthening the party’s commitment to democratic innovation in the country.
