Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume has criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu, blaming what he described as “kakistocrats” for the government’s embarrassments.
Speaking on Arise TV on Wednesday, Ndume said President Tinubu has surrounded himself with too many individuals who lack the competence required to effectively manage government affairs, especially at the federal level.
“President Tinubu has too many kakistocrats that dominate the presidency.
“Unless he does something about it, they will keep messing him up,” Ndume said.
The senator also alleged that some government agencies exist only in name, describing them as “fake agencies” that operate from offices without effectively fulfilling their mandates.
He argued that the problems and embarrassments confronting the administration could have been avoided if the President were surrounded by more capable hands.
“If the President had capable hands, all these mess and embarrassments wouldn’t be happening,” Ndume added.
