World Cup Final: Mbappe makes history after France beat Croatia

France forward, Kylian Mbappe on Sunday made history in his side’s 4-2 victory over Croatia in the 2018 World Cup final fixtures played at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia.

The 19-year-old scored the fourth goal for the les Bleus to write his name on football history book.

Mbappe is now the second-youngest player to ever score in a World Cup final, after Brazil legend, Pelé who was 17 when he scored in 1958.

The Paris Saints-Germain star also won the 2018 World Cup young best player award.

However, Mandzukic and Ivan Perisic goals were not enough as goals from Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe ensured that the Les Blues claimed their second World Cup trophy after winning their first in 1998 on home soil.
